Ich bin ein Vollzeit-Musiker, der in Deutschland oft ist. Zuvor war ich über 15 Jahre lang Musiker und Musiklehrer in meiner Heimat Irland.
Ich gebe einmal pro Woche Musikunterricht mit dem Thema "Irische Musik als Hobby". Die Idee soll jede Woche eine Melodie lernen (oder Begleitung) und zusammen spielen. Jede Woche könnte ein kleiner Kurs 3 Stunden lang ein Stück aus dem Fundus traditioneller Irischer Musik in freundlicher Atmosphäre erkunden. Die Teilnahme wäre offen für Spieler verschiedener Instumente, ohne Altersbeschränkung, und auf einem mittleren Lernniveau. Der Kurs passt gut zu der jungen Leute der langsam lernen wollen. KLEINE KONZERTE SIND AUCH MÖGLICH! Das Ziel ist nicht pub-sessions zu spielen (aber natürlich kann man), lieber eine große und wahre Erfahrung der Musik. Die Teilnehmer hätten Gelegenheit, irische Musik und ihren ganz besonderen Stil kennenzulernen, und unter professioneller Anleitung, aber als angenehmes Hobby, zu musizieren.

A workshop for guitarists (non-beginners) on the use of the guitar in Irish folk and traditional music, suitable for musicians and music-students. The workshop includes notes in English, as well as demonstration and audio examples. You must bring a guitar. This is an accessible class for anyone who has taken some lessons in standard guitar. You should know either how to read music in the treble-clef or know how to play many chords in standard tuning - even better if you can do both. Fingerstyle and plectrum will both be discussed.

I am still looking for a good Folk-music group to join or set-up! What works best for me is if people are playing/singing through their own cultural background/language.

I've played Irish music for most of my life, either in large groups or in a more intimate setting with singers or fiddlers.
